Sunday 27th August – Visit to the Maldon Military Museum and to the site of the Battle of Maldon

Cost £10.00 person (Includes entry to the museum with reduction and the battle site tour).

Arrangements on the day:
10.45am Meet at the Museum (Station Road, Heybridge, Maldon.  CM9 4LQ) (Tour of Museum with at 11.00 sharp) Special items to see – Saxon sword and Spanish pistol (Civil War era).
c12.45 Lunch (local pub or picnic).
2.00pm: Meet John Pullen-Appleby outside Museum – he’ll take us to Battle Site opposite Heybridge island. Talk… crossing causeway – (high tide about 7.00pm)
